Description
William Morris’s most beautiful and popular design from the wonderful art and crafts movement in the late 1800’s. Inspired by the birds and thrushes that used to steal fruit from his own British countryside garden, this alluring design has been woven on a long-lasting heavyweight cotton rich marine blue tapestry cloth in an array of jeweled tones.
Handmade in the UK with the same design both front and back, sealed with a concealed zip. Available as a cover only or choose a quality eco-friendly recycled polyester, duck feather inner, or a luxury 100% British wool pad. Please note this cushion is made from fabric cut from the roll so pattern placement can vary.

A lovely quality Cushion Cover which arrived in good time – the only disappointment is that it turns out it’s 100% Polyester, rather than Cotton as I wrongly assumed (my fault), however on closer examination the Website Details list it as PolyCotton, so that’s incorrect and needs amending. I try and avoid synthetics as much as possible these days and it especially seems a shame/contradiction when the whole style and vibe of this is ‘tapestry/antique’, so would have expected natural fibres ….? I guess if it had been, it would have cost a lot more, so understandable ….
Overall tho, seems very well made and is good, thick material which will hopefully last many years ….. :}
